Donna Summer made music that moved me both emotionally and physically to get up and dance. You could always hear the deep passion in her voice. She was so much more than the queen of disco she became known for, she was an honest and gifted singer with flawless vocal talent. I’ve always been a huge fan and was honored to sample one of her songs. She touched many generations and will be so sadly missed.

My love goes out to her family during this difficult time.

There’s been a lot of talk that BeyBey ain’t really feelin’ Kimmy Cakes too tough, but this weekend in London it looks like she’ll have her shot to rub shoulders with rap royalty Jay-Z and the Queen Bey herself.

The UK Sun reports:

JAY-Z is throwing a monster London bash on Saturday for his manager Ty Ty’s 40th birthday – and the guest list of 150 attending include Kim Kardashian, her brother Rob and his girlfriend Rita Ora, plus Gwyneth Paltrow, Rihanna, Jay’s wife Beyonce and Kanye West – who is touring the UK with Jay.

A source said: “It’s at a top city venue after Jay and Kanye’s O2 show.

“There will be a dinner first cooked by a chef flown in from New York and then a huge party.

“Security is going to be tight.”

Hopefully Kim allows Yeezy to stay and have a good time, according to the same tabloid, she

dragged him from a power dinner at London’s Zuma restaurant, where The Jigga Man had hired a section for a party.

A source said: “Jay expected Kay and Kim to mingle.

“But as soon as Kim whispered in Kanye’s ear, they left.”

The pair were up early yesterday for a Radio 1 interview, then last night went hand in hand to the Fifi Awards at The Brewery in London.

Kim’s signature perfume was up for the Best Celebrity fragrance award but lost out to Justin Bieber.

Bey might be a “Rock Hero” but this gaming company still wants their gold coins

Beyonce has been having one hell of a year. A new baby, hailed as the most beautiful woman on the planet, countless awards and now another milestone to add to the list. A big azz lawsuit. A US judge has given a video game company permission to sue Beyonce for $100 million, according to reports:

The New York Post reports that Manhattan judge Charles Ramos has given software developer Gate Five the go-ahead to proceed with their lawsuit against the ’4′ superstar, after she allegedly pulled out of a deal to create a motion sensing computer game.

Gate Five took legal action last year when they claimed the singer had backed out of a $20 million agreement to feature in Starpower: Beyonce. Beyonce’s lawyers argued that she was entitled to walk away as the company hadn’t finalized its financial agreements, but Gate Five insisted that she had chosen to abandon the project on December 6 2010, even though she knew they were set to sign a funding deal three days later.

Beyonce could now face a date in court after Ramos ruled that the lawsuit should go ahead, as she should have given the company notice of her decision before she withdrew. The lawyer for Gate Five, who claim they were forced to fire 70 employees after the bungled deal, said he was “pleased” with the decision, while representatives for Beyonce declined to comment.

Poor Bey! While we’re sure all the stans would have loved to pretend to be her in the video game; in reality 70 people lost their jobs because she was too busy to be bothered. Do you think the company deserves compensation?

International B.I.C. is living up to her nickname. It’s looking like the baby will be spending some real time in England this Summer, so much so that her famous parents are reportedly purchasing a new crib in London.

The Neighborhood Watch meetings held in Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin’s area will soon have a line-up any festival would kill for.

Beyonce and Jay-Z are moving in to a posh townhouse in west London on the recommendation of their close pals.

The pair decided to rent the five-bedroom gaff because they were tired of pouring money down the drain on posh hotels.

New mom Beyonce tasked her entourage with finding a suitable home for her family.

And a deal was struck this week for a posh property near where X Factor boss Simon Cowell, Virgin chief Sir Richard Branson and director Michael Winner live.

A source said: “Both Jay-Z and Beyonce are going to be spending a lot of time in London over the next few months.

“Jay is over here for his Watch The Throne Tour and Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Beyonce will be launching her perfume in Europe over the summer.

“They wanted to have somewhere more homely now they are parents.”

Jay’s touring pal Kanye West, who is also heading over for the Watch The Throne tour, is at a different stage in his relationship.

The rap Zoolander has booked a floor of posh central London hotel The Lanesborough to impress Kim Kardashian during their stay in London.

The reality star has rearranged appearances so she can fly over with Kanye on a private jet this Tuesday.

He’ll then meet up with Jay-Z for rehearsals while Kim launches her Quick Trim slimming device and a new fragrance.

The last time Kanye stayed at The Lanesborough — just around the corner from Buckingham Palace — our Royal Family complained about the smell of cannabis wafting around.

It’s not like they don’t have the money to pour down the drain on hotels, but we guess it does make sense to buy a place since they have the baby to think about and their besties Chris and Gwyn live in the same hood.
